Sue’s first true and strong connection with the Angels was at the age of 37. As a single mom of two wonderful children, she was in a corporate job that no longer satisfied her or fed her urge to grow and learn; not to mention commuting almost 3 hours a day trying to fit her home life in only on the weekends. She had grown tired of the corporate world and struggled to figure out what else she could do as a career. Where would she go from here?–what should she be doing-what is her purpose in this life?

Sue began to have nagging urges to start writing a book, she had no idea what it should be about; she just knew she needed to write. She started to get stronger and more specific ideas and they continued to grow with each day. That’s when she knew these ideas were coming from a different place-a higher place. This is when Sue knew she was not alone. The Angels were with her and had always been with her. They had been guiding her through her strong intuition all of her life-through everything-and all this time she just thought she was good!.

Sue remembers, “Since my teen years when I started making big decisions for myself, I always lived by my ‘gutt feelings’ or ‘gutt instincts’. I learned that they never steered me wrong and always brought me to a better place. Sometimes I didn’t understand why I was doing some of the things I was doing, but they just felt right!’

Sue’s focus in Angel Reading is bringing together her life experiences and providing angelic wisdom and advise with a personal touch. ‘I was married young and divorced at age 26. With 2 small children, I learned to be independent and strong. At 33 when I was diagnosed with cancer, I was given the gift of life. As I lay on the operating table, I knew I wasn’t ready to leave my children. The angels helped me through my healing process and at the age of 36, I graduated High School! I’ve since left my corporate job to live a life of my choosing and I am embracing life more fully.’

I’ve always felt a strong connection to my angels and guides. Their guidance has led me through all of the ups and downs of life. When I first began to notice the strength of my intuition, I was often compelled to call or visit a friend or family member, without really knowing why. This was the angels’ way of telling me that my loved ones needed my help! I have always been a spiritual person, but my spirituality has become heightened when I began working with the angels. I started learning about and working with the angels in December 2006, after I came across an article written by Doreen Virtue. A year later, during meditation, the angels brought me to AngelsTeach, and since then my life has been more of an amazing journey!

I have such a desire and passion to help people and I knew that being an Angelic Life Coach, could surely meet both of those drives, and make a difference. Continuing with this passion of ‘making a difference’, I became a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner to assist in healing the spiritual, physical, and emotional areas of our lives. Receiving guidance from the angels and releasing blockages can open a whole new way of seeing ourselves, who we truly are, and were meant to be.

Marianne’s journey with the angels has provided her with an awakening to her own self-worth and a new-found excitement about life. “My family instilled strong religious and moral values in me from the moment of my birth,” says Marianne, “but growing up I felt there was something missing.”  Over the years, Marianne would be drawn to the angels but never took the all-important step of working with them; that was until she found Angels Teach in late 2007.

Growing up in a very loving and nurturing home environment, as the oldest of five children, with two siblings significantly younger than her, Marianne learned the importance of supporting and caring for others, something that has carried over into her adult life. However, a childhood weight problem caused Marianne to have a low self-esteem, which also carried into her adult life.

Marianne’s life journey has not been an easy one, but it has provided her with compassion, understanding and a strong desire to help others love themselves and their life no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem.

Separating and ultimately divorcing when her only child was still a toddler presented some challenges. Blessed with a wonderful family and tremendous friends, Marianne was able to deal with each challenge as it was presented. But it was not without its struggles. “My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 5,” Marianne explains. “Then in her freshman year of high school, she became suicidal.” She continues, “Once she got over that hurdle, she started manipulating her insulin and developed an eating disorder.”  It was during those years of helping her daughter recognize her own self-worth that Marianne became aware of her own low morale issues.

Today thanks to her work with her angels and her faith in a Higher Power, Marianne (and her daughter) is much more confident and content in her life.  She continues to draw on the angels and the power of the Divine to help her daily. “I know I am here for a purpose and I believe that purpose is to help others find and love their true self and to recognize that we are all important.”

Since a young child, I have always known there was something else out there but not really understanding what that meant. I had an imaginary friend who I adored and would have over for dinner and play dates. Now, I wonder if this friend was an angel in disguise helping me during times of confusion and distress.

About five years ago, I had an urge to put pen to paper and the angels took control and began to communicate. This day was the beginning of my understanding that there was something else out there, right in front of me, in front of all of us to have as an active part of our lives.

Today, I consider the angels my very good friends. They know me better than I know myself helping me to understand life in a deep and meaningful way and to learn from each and every experience.

My journey to angels has been a meandering path, the perfect path really, like a labyrinth in which the circuitous route, one which winds out before, is always seen but still needs the move forward in order to reach that final, always sure outcome. Although I always thought there was “more”, my career decisions, fairly liberal upbringing and other choices took me along and often apparently away from the idea that angels were even a possibility, let alone probability. But synchronistically, (well of course!), it was also my education, especially in psychology and energy work that allowed me to “get” the idea that we are all one and that, in some ways gave me the permission I needed me to bring me back to the angels.

I met Nina several years ago at The Beloved Community in Oregon. There with James Twyman and other wonderful teachers we became Ordained Spiritual Peacemakers. Nina was this wise and lovely visionary, angelic-like actually who has in the intervening years become not only my colleague, but also my friend and mentor. It is her perspective of angels as almost Jungian archetypes, each a portion of our highest selves that allowed me to “remember” what I’ve always really known and that is that “We are all that, that peace, that joy, that love, that angelic presence.” By being in the moment, breathing and connected, we can tap into the wisdom of angels and the inate, instinctive knowing, that remembrance of the love we all are.

I see my role with with my colleagues at Angels Teach as helping us all reconnect with the angels and the wisdom that is within all of us and has been for all time. We just need to remember. I so look forward to it.

The other day as we were emptying out our cottage for it to be sold, I mentioned to my sister Meredith that I’d like to take one of the cake pans. She smiled and said, “You know you’ll probably never make that. You’re taking it because it’s the angel food cake pan.”

She’s probably right. But now, of course, I’ll have to make just one. An angel food mocha torte, I think. The angels so love it!
