Summer Solstice blessings, dear earth angels!
Today is the day when the sun reaches its highest point in the northern hemisphere (and lowest down under.) This the longest day of the year, marking the beginning of summer, and a cause for celebration – yippee!
We’ve been working through the healing phase of our 28-day Limiting Beliefs? Let ’em Go!journey and been focused the last few days on the topics of divine Clarity, Understanding andDepth.
On the surface, these attributes, from the Emmissary Wheel I studied in seminary, may seem mundane, but when you dig in, they are quite profound.
Clarity is about seeing the true gift in all things and making clear decisions aligned with the highest good.
Even when the world may seem to be falling down around you, faith leads the way and you know it’s all good. You see clearly that there is divine purpose in every situation.
Understanding – this is where the ego’s hackles often get up – the clarity gained from seeing the gift often summons a healing. Why? Because we see things as they are, not as we want them to be.
The truth of our own choices stands facing us.
Quick metaphysical lesson to illustrate…
If you have two violins within the same space and strike the “D” note on one of them, the “D” note on the other violin will vibrate without being touched. The resonance emitted from the first violin activates the resonance on the second.
Because we are vibrational beings, the same applies to us.
For example, let’s say your partner steals the toast off your plate while your back is turned. You’re busy pouring coffee and don’t notice until you turn to grab the plate and take it to the table.
First, you gulp. The steam rises and you remember the conversation you had yesterday asking him to please not do this. It’s too early in the morning for games and teasing. And yet, here it is again.
You may scream, you may stuff it. Either way, you’re pissed.
How does Clarity and Understanding help here?
When you have Clarity about what’s really going on with a situation, the Understanding that follows points to where you need to heal.
Clarity reveals the true reason why your partner did this. Maybe he just needs your attention. Maybe he’s angry you kept the light on while you read until 1am and is deliberately provoking in retaliation. Maybe he’s trying to help you lighten up a little and needs you to be more playful. The angels will lead you to the true answer.
Let’s continue pretending and say that your partner stole your toast because he feels ignored and wants your attention.
Enter Understanding…Divine Understanding will help realize that there is some resonance – like the violins – between you and the energy inspiring your toast thief. In this case, feeling ignored.
Your proverbial string is vibrating because you share the same resonance. Aka, there’s a part of you feeling ignored and wanting attention. Lightbulb! as your angels flash a memory of you feeling ditched as your mother gave your younger brother more attention getting ready for school.
You’ve seen this trait within yourself clearly, you understand why it’s there and you can forgive yourself for needing attention on a deep level.
I know. This can be a mind bender. It’s also profoundly healing once you really get it because theClarity and Understanding allow forgiveness with Depth.
Carl Jung wrote, “Knowing your own darkness is the best way for dealing with the darkness of other people.”
I believe this is exactly what he meant. When we accept and understand our own darkness and take responsibility for healing it, we embrace inner peace.
We also stop attracting the irritating situations.
The concept of divine Depth takes us deeper into knowing ourselves, accepting ourselves – warts, beauty marks, unsightly habits and all.
We move deeper into self love.
The result is that when your partner steals the toast next time, you’re able to stay calm, giggle and whisper in his ear, “Does my honey need a little extra attention this morning?!”
The Sun is brilliant and strong today. Imagine for just a moment…
What if… we all channel this powerful energy with the intention of clearing out the gunk. Let’s shine the light on all the challenges that have served us in the past, delivered us gifts, and are ready to be released so we can move deeper into our own personal truth.
What if… we all stop plucking the strings of our violins that are resonating with fear and hatred and replace that choice with the musical creation of grace.
What if… we, the Lightworkers and healers of the world live out our true purpose fully and without fear.
Imagine. Our world would be quite different.
Let’s do this! Together, we can create change. 🙂
Enjoy this beautiful, sunny day with your angels!
With love,
Rev. Elvia
