Spiritual Warrior…what’s it mean?

As we’ve been discussing, the energies blessing our planet from the cosmos right now are encouraging us to go deep…deep into who we are and why we’re here. Mercury goes direct tomorrow, so we’ll start to pull away from the intensity, but for today, let’s talk about what it means to be a spiritual warrior.

Because on some level, we are ALL spiritual warriors.

You, my sweet one, are a spiritual warrior. (Yes, even if you’re not feeling it in this moment.)

How do I say that with confidence? Because if you are reading this, you know there is a higher path. You believe – at least to some extent – that the angels are real and that they can lift you out of darkness. But it’s a path that requires the vigilance and courage of a Spiritual Warrior because at every turn, the ego will attempt to take you down.

In the Introduction to The Art of War by Sun Tzu, it is said that, “The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy’s not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable.”

When we understand – without self-judgement and with great self-forgiveness – that the ego is everpresent and has an agenda that’s predominantly misaligned with the purpose of the soul in body, we understand that our #1 job is to be ready for that inevitable moment when the ego pops its head up and tries take the wheel.

This means…

  • prioritizing self-care and those habits/routines that keep you balanced
  • following guidance as much as you possibly can – this will always steer you out of the muck
  • talking to your angels and guides, asking for help whenever you feel the need…and doing so with certainty that they will respond and help.

Core takeaway for this week:

Think of yourself as a Spiritual Warrior ready to do battle with whatever resistence steps in front of you. You may have to pretend to be able to do this, but that’s perfectly fine. There’s a good amount of truth in the whole “fake it ’til you make it” motto – it gets the energy moving. 🙂

I will leave you with this powerful quote from Warrior of Light by my hero Paulo Coelho…

Until next week…
Enjoy your day with the angels!
