Last month I wrote about the purpose of a card deck… Why is the deck in relationship with you? What is its purpose in coming into your life?

This month, I’d like to expand on that theme because as I’ve said many times to my students – the “right” deck is just as important as the “right” card.

I currently have several bags of card decks that are packed as part of our move. One morning last week, the angels had me dig through one of the bags to locate the deck that I needed for our morning ritual.

Several decks were out, but the angels wanted one in particular: Grimalkins Curious Cat Tarot by MJ Cullinane. Most tarot decks have the same cards, but this one has two additional major arcana cards that aren’t in other decks.

Wouldn’t you know… one of those extra major arcana cards was the one to come forward that morning.

The card? Unity. As I’ve sat with why this card, message and emphasis, the answer is simple – my work is to bring unity and harmony to the forces at play within me so that I may bring unity to my choices, behavior and communication outwardly. May it be so for all of us. 🙏🏻
