The role of fear.
We’ve had a family crisis situation pop up recently and I found myself triggered by fear, spinning in the energy of past traumas.
After a few beats, my husband and I rolled up our sleeves and went into hard core prayer mode.
We visualized and gave words to our desired outcome.
We built an altar to hold space for our goals.
While we acknowledged the fears, we held fast to faith… like a person thrown overboard in a storm holding tight to the life raft praying, stretching into trust that help will come.
After the storm had settled, I was reading about Neptune’s interactions with Mars and the existential role of fear.
One signature of Neptune and Mars in conversation is the mythic warrior, or the mystical spiritual warrior.
A warrior goes into battle and she feels fear, but moves forward anyway because she knows it’s the right thing to do to protect and defend what she believes in.
Similarly, when confronted with crisis, the spiritual warrior doubles down on the inherent human relationship with Spirit that we so often forget… until we are called back to remember.
Fear is our summons to push the ego clutter and noise out of the way, remember the power of our Divinity and get crystal clear focus on what the mind and heart are transmitting to the Universe.
We can’t control what lessons may pop up for us, but we can control how we react and respond. With honesty, grace and compassion we align.
Related, I was wondering how the high ground response to a challenging situation influences what comes next. In other words, if the karma is healed and the lesson is learned, does the lesson stop showing up? Or, maybe it just gets easier… 🤔
