Recently during my morning prayer and meditation routine, I smelled the scent of the candle grow strong. Like really strong. It was so oppressive, I cut my meditation short.
When I opened my eyes and looked at the candle, I saw that an entire chunk of one side had caved in and slid down to the center of the candle smothering the flame.
This was a profound and timely message for me about boundaries. The pace of AngelsTeach has quickened by many fold, which means that the demands on my time/energy have also increased. Before the candle thing happened, my angels were chatting with me about the importance of managing my energy strongly and vigilantly.
Apparently if I don’t, my inner light will be smothered to nothingness. (To be clear – I’m not taking this as a dramatic life or death message. I’ve been dancing with Hashimoto’s Disease and still running like a freight train for the past month. This is a reminder to slow it down a bit when I need to.)
The impact of seeing the flame completely snuffed out, was a powerful visual to underscore what was happening in my morning meditation.
