Dear sweet Rev. Elvia,
This final Tip for Partnering with the Angels is one that was born from the many experiences I’ve had with people believing that the angels are “too busy with other more important things” to help in every moment of every day.
First…a recap:
Tip #1: Assume you are always guided. (Because you are.)
Tip #2: Cultivate a habit of asking for help…with clarity, simplicity, certainty, feeling & gratitude.
Tip #3: If the guidance isn’t a clear yes, it’s a no. (And there is always a yes for you.)
Tip #4: When the outcome of guided action is unexpected (maybe even “wrong”), flip it
Enter Tip #5: Your angels want to help you with EVERYTHING. (Hierarchy is a construct of the ego.)
Your angels are never too busy. They are no better than you. They don’t favor one person over another.
Humans are the ones who create and perpetuate these fear-based beliefs.
The idea that one entity (person, place or thing) is better, more important or higher up the food chain is a construct of the ego mind.
And while hierarchy and knowing likes/dislikes can be a helpful strategy when we need to organize life and decide what is best for us, it’s not a reality in the angelic realm. It simply doesn’t exist in the world of angels.
The shadow energy emerging here is judgment and falling into the belief trap that the angels judge, like/dislike, choose/don’t choose to help and guide you.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Your angels never have more important things to do than help you.
They don’t view themselves as better than you, nor do they grace someone else with their guidance more than they do you.
Your angels are ALWAYS there to guide (full circle with Tip #1) and ALWAYS choose YOU!
Since we’re touching upon the topic of judgment, please remember that just because something isn’t a preferred choice, doesn’t mean it’s wrong or bad.
For example, just because I’d rather vacation in Europe than in Pawtucket, RI doesn’t mean it’s a bad place. (In fact, it has some lovely areas!)
Just because I don’t want to hang out with people who dwell on politics, doesn’t mean they are wrong or even misaligned.
Just because I don’t eat stinky cheese, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exist.
There is no judgment, it just is.
As we like to say in our household…
Eckhart Tolle has said, “The moment that judgement stops through acceptance of what it is, you are free of the mind. You have made room for love, for joy, for peace.”
What I’d like to add to this sentiment is that when we have made the room for love, joy and peace, in so doing we have made room for our angels to guide us in every moment of every day.
THIS is the practice of a Master.
Until next time…
xo Elvia
