It may not be April, but yesterday was Patriots’ Day here in New England. Coming back from a 28-3 deficit in the 4th quarter against the Atlanta Falcons, it is said that Tom Brady and our NE boys pulled off nothing short of a miracle to win the Super Bowl 34-28 in a record setting overtime.
I’m no huge fan of football, but with the Patriots’ home stadium 5 miles from our home and a big fan under our roof, I pay attention when we get this far in the season.
I also pay attention to miracles.
It’s been a crazy long time since I’ve written. So much has happened since my last public post. Life has an interesting way of showing us what we need to work on and how to be the best humans we can possibly be. And when I say “best”, I mean in the eyes of the soul, God and our angels.
I’ve spent the morning thinking about how the Patriots pulled off the “miracle”. Was it divine intervention? Not exactly.
It was faith. Which I suppose you could call divine intervention.
They never gave up.
They believed in themselves and their ability as a team, even when the scoreboard begged otherwise.
They had faith.
The faith they exhibited tickles me to the core. As we pay attention, it inspires us to reach beyond the circumstances in front of us and believe.
As I said, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. I’ve missed you and so looking forward to reconnection. I am working with my peeps to get AngelsTeach back on track to bring you all kinds of angel goodies as we begin to celebrate our 10th birthday in April.
Our world needs the angels now more than ever.
And so it is.
With love,
Rev. Elvia
P.S. What’s in your faith wallet? 😉
