I don’t know about you beloved earth angel, but past life recalls have been surfacing in spades. Perhaps it’s the Summer Solstice showering us with its blessings here in the Northern Hemisphere. 

Have you felt the tremors, experienced the flashes? Energy that may be hard to pinpoint directly to this incarnation. Vibrations that feel faintly familiar…from long ago.

I was recently blessed with a hypnosis induced trance. While in this transitional state of being, I was led back to a memory when I was just 5 or 6 (this lifetime). Following “the big kids”, I ran off the end of a dock and jumped into the water in an effort to swim to the dock anchored in the middle of the pond. Instead of swimming, I hit a rock that lay beneath the water and scraped my right leg. I didn’t need stitches, but it did bleed a lot and the adults tended carefully as I sobbed.

I was both in pain and embarrassed. I fell short – literally – of staying up with “the big kids.”

A few days later, I was given a vision of my whole right leg run over by some kind of wheeled vehicle in a prior lifetime. The part of the flashback that was clear was that my leg was completely crushed and became septic, requiring amputation.

This memory stayed with me. I couldn’t shake it and knew it was an invitation for healing. As I opened to the process and went into the memories, I saw the rock beneath the water from the present life injury as a wormhole to this past life.

I shared with my husband – the humble shaman – and asked if he agreed with my read, he replied, “When you scraped your leg, you summoned a vibration that matched the vibration from when your leg was crushed in that past life. When you did that, it opened your soul more directly to that experience and brought it into this lifetime.”

Akin to a wrinkle in time.

And why this memory is so etched in my consciousness – of scraping my leg. Yes, it hurt, but I scraped my legs so many times as an outdoors-all-the-time little kid, why that one occasion. NOW, I understand.

Past lives…have so much more influence over this lifetime than most of us realize. What we recall always relates to our healing what is ready to be released.
